Oostburg Christian School (OCS) is accepting applications for their 2010/11 school year. 4K is offered Mon./Wed. from 8:30-noon, with an optional Friday session. 5K is offered Mon.-Fri. 8:30-noon. Aftercare may be available until 5:30 pm. Contact them at 564-2664 for details or to register.
"Stepping On", a workshop for adults over 60 who are concerned about falling, will be held at Zion Covenant Church (1125 N. 6th St, Sheboygan) for seven consecutive Tuesdays starting on September 8th. The classes are run by certified health care professionals and are designed to make you more aware of fall hazards, how to prevent serious falls, and provide a place for you to share what's worked for you with others. This class runs from 9:30 to 11:30 Tuesday mornings, and is designed for adults who do not suffer from dementia. For further information, call the Aging and Disability Resource Center at 467-4100.
Todd Agnew is coming to the Sheboygan County Fair!!! Gibbsville Reformed Church is hosting a Christian music area on September 4th and 5th, with multiple opportunities to hear great Christian music! The big show at 8 pm on Saturday will feature Todd Agnew, best-known for songs such as "Grace Like Rain". All of the events are free, all you pay is the admission price to the fair. This is an outstanding opportunity to hear a national recording artist live, so put this on your calendar now!
Join the Alzheimer's Association of SE Wisconsin for its 5th annual Memory Walk on September 25th! Teams are forming now for a 2.5 mile walk at the Sports Core in Kohler. Moms In Touch and the Student Council are hosting an all-school prayer night on Thursday, August 26th at 7 pm. We will form prayer teams and lift up the property, ministry and people of SCCHS. If you have any questions, please contact Brenda Reiskytl at 564-6140.
