Christian Education
The mission of Christian Education at Southside is to win children to Christ, and teach them to follow Him in everyday life. We model this through a variety of ministries.
Nursery
Southside Nursery is staffed with trained volunteer personnel to care for your child while you are in Sunday School, the service, or participating in a Wednesday evening ministry. Southside Nursery accommodates children ages 0-2. We take the safety of your child VERY seriously. Refer to our Nursery Discipline Policy.
Children's Church
Children's Church is for ages 3-5 (pre-K). It runs downstairs during the Sunday service. Parents may drop off their children before the service begins, and must pick them up immediately afterwards.
Kids Zone
Kids Zone is designed for ages K-2nd grade. It weaves together games, music, skits, and teaching to present Bible-based, kid-friendly lessons! Kids Zone runs during the Sunday morning service and begins when children are dismissed at the pastor's announcement in the service. Parents should pick up children immediately following the service.
AWANA
AWANA is an exciting adventure of games, music, Bible memorization and learning for ages 3 through 6th grade! Each week has a fun theme for children that brings Biblical truth to life. AWANA meets on Wednesday's from 6:15 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Sunday School
Classes are available downstairs for all ages on Sunday mornings from 8:30 to 9:30!
Library
Southside Library has many volumes available for check out, including videos, books and tapes relevant to today's society. Located near the entrance to the sanctasium, don't miss this resource!
