Southside Alliance Youth Ministry exists to reach youth with the Gospel of Christ, establish them in their faith, equip them for ministry, send them out, and multiply disciples. Southside Alliance Youth is for youth in grades 6-12

Southside Alliance Youth has four vital parts:

Sunday Nite @ Southside (Sundays at 6:30 pm) aimed at making a fun night that challenges students in their walk with God, supplemented by special events.
Sunday School (Sundays at 8:30 am) for deeper Bible study.
Bible Quizzing (Wednesdays at 6:15) for a unique way to memorize God's Word.
Youth Evangelism Explosion (Tuesday at 6:00 pm) to train students to share Christ with peers.

Sunday Nite @ Southside is the heartbeat of the group. It is a chance for students to have fun playing games, take part in skits, worship God, serve one another, be challenged by a message about walking with Christ and discuss it in small groups. "Basic Training" is the theme for the fall and spring as we will address the basic issues of Christianity: sin, salvation, new life, and ministry to others. During Sunday Nite @ Southside, each of the adult youth sponsors will be leading a small group to around 10 students (preferable less) to give opportunity for relationships and trust to develop. But over the course of the year youth sponsors will pray for and seek chances to disciple students who desire to go deeper. Through one-on-one or one-on-two Bible study outside regular youth group time, discipleship is intentional spiritual investment of a mature believer into an immature believer. In addition to seeking out these relationships, youth sponsors will be contacting at least one student per week from their small group either by phone, in person, or postcard.
